Jessica Panchi Pachico, July 9th, 2026, London. Within the Blue Tape Collection Project I really value spontaneity, planning the install when I am in the studio with the artists and thoughts and ideas generating from conversation. while in the studio I asked Jess just curiously if she had anything that she wanted to be photographed and we talked about a little box with a flower attached and I gave my input into what I thought we should do with it. It is photographed on a kids set of stacking draws. Around Jess’s studio space was also various intriguing objects which she said recently when everyone had walked past to get the kitchen connected to the random orientation of collected and found objects scattered across the floor, kicked around. while this conversation was happening I was simultaneously capturing the moment with my camera of this array of artistis belongings. We both agreed that you can’t force good work to happen too much, and as a result I enjoy the photos that came out the this. It sits in the nice space in-between photos of artwork and documentation of the studio. The work then becomes lot of different things, the physical objects on display, the studio practice and the photographic documentation (Written by Dom Shaw).
