List of works: A bright idea, 2026
Cotton, helium, latex balloons, Peltek, string
“I see this work as a prop of sorts. Or a proxy. It is the physical stand-in for an unfinished text: the story of a man who lost his belt and so tried to hold up his trousers with helium balloons. In part, it became a work on failure. The text was never completed and the helium insufficient during install - fitting for the idiotic fictional effort. And, the balloons will deflate over time; the work will sink further to the ground. A collapse of their absent wearer who is seemingly already on his knees. By some metrics, this is the worst work i have ever made.”
